If you do away with the yoke of oppression, with the pointing finger and malicious talk, and if you spend yourselves in behalf of the hungry and satisfy the needs of the oppressed, then your light will rise in the darkness, and your night will become like the noonday. The LORD will guide you always; he will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land and will strengthen your frame. You will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring whose waters never fail.

HUGE NEWSFLASH

I'm thinking of moving all my personal stuff to another blog and devoting this one to the war on the streets.

By that, I mean opening it up as a place where various Salvationists can report on what God's doing in the 'dodgy neighbourhood' areas in their part of the world. You'll need to be a StreetWar team member to post.

What do you think? Would you be interested in posting - or for that matter, reading? Do you know people who might like to participate?

My reasoning: I love reading all your blogs. There's a lot of info on them, and while that's great for me (speed-reader extraordinaire), it could be difficult for someone looking for ideas or specific inspiration to find it. So... one place where people can come for both when they're looking at getting involved in this sort of work?

Please post your thoughts, criticisms, etc. Worst case scenario, things will stay as they are.

Although I think there are already a few bloggin' communities similar to this around I still love the idea. A place to connect, share ideas... this is always a good thing.
"Where two of three are gathered..." That works for the internet too.
I would love to both read, and if you wanted me to, post. Let me know, looking forward to the renovations.

Cool, Peter! That would be great. If I get more interest, I'll get it happening.

Yeah, think I would. It's interesting to here. Maybe is a replacement for the fact that I will probably never visit them all to see them!!
